Custom Tweed for a Saville Row Tailor
Master Tailor Craig Featherstone wanted a luxurious house tweed to offer clients. We created a subtle tweed in a superfine Geelong yarn that gave a soft finish and beautiful drape.
The tailoring process
Saville Row Tailor Craig Featherstone creates bespoke tailoring for prestigious clients from his London workshop. Passionate about, quality, craftsmanship and unique details, Craig commissioned a custom tweed to take his bespoke offering to the next level.
Araminta worked closely with Craig to establish a colour palette and design that would reflect his refined aesthetic and would appeal to his clients. The resulting design is an unusual combination of herringbone and barleycorn weave structures, with a fine overcheck. We produced the Featherstone tweed here in Scotland using a superfine Geelong yarn that gave it a beautifully soft finish and elegant drape.
