“The task of capturing the love of landscape and home in a woven fabric is not a simple one, but Aramintaâs unique design skills and her tenacity and commitment to excellence led to the creation of a beautiful tartan.” – M.H Recent Private Client
Balmoral Estate and Castle commissioned Araminta to craft a bespoke tartan that tells the story of the Balmoral Castle and Estate by request of His Majesty the King. Each design element has been embellished with a story that spans centuries; following discussions with Balmoral, it was decided that the new Balmoral tartan would draw its structure from the Hunting Stewart tartan.
Araminta was commissioned to design a bespoke tweed and tartan for The Royal Scotsman, a Belmond train, for use in their indulgent grand suites.  In each thread of The Royal Scotsmanâs tartan and tweed lies a beautiful reflection of the untouched Scottish landscape and the illustrious journey that passengers embark upon when they board the Belmond train. Araminta was commissioned to design a bespoke tartan to celebrate 50 years of WL Sleigh and the future of the three companies. Every thread in Sleighâs tartan is a testament to Scotlandâs rich heritage, enduring appeal, and timeless elegance. Crafted by skilled hands and inspired by the breathtaking landscapes that define Scotland, each element tells a story of passion, pride, and family legacy.
